Take a short two mile drive from the cabin and you will find the picturesque Bullpasture Gorge. The Bullpasture is a large boulder strewn mountain stream that holds both smallmouth bass and rainbow trout. The Bullpasture River offers some of Virginia’s best fly fishing, as well as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. Located 25 miles south in neighboring Bath County are the towns of Warm Springs and Hot Springs, home to the famous and historic Homestead resort and Jefferson Pools mineral baths. Accommodation Details
(Sleeps 4) The cabin includes a sleeping loft with two king beds (on floor because ceiling is low), screened back porch with single bed, one bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room and screened front porch. Central AC/Heat, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and woodstove. All linens provided. PLEASE NOTE: SUV or pick-up trucks (cars without low clearance) recommended during the 2008 season due to driveway construction. Four-wheel drive may be necessary during inclement weather (heavy rains/snow); however, you can park 50 yards away from cabin and walk without 4x4, SUV or truck.
Rental Rates and Policies
$125.00 per night (2 night minimum required); $750.00 per week (7 nights); $2200 per month. Reservation Deposit: 50% due upon reservation. Rental balance due 10 days prior to check-in. Security Deposit: $250.00 fully refunded within 3 business days of check-out. Cancellation policy: 60 days prior to reservation date, full refund less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total rent. After 60 days, guest will be refunded only if the property is re-rented for the same rate and time. Pets welcome and kid friendly. "Last-minute reservations" welcome if availability permits.
